– Nanny means individuals who are seeking employment as nannies through our agency, as well as individuals who are seeking to hire a Nanny through Nanny Genie;

– Nanny Genie means Nanny Genie Portal, an entity incorporated under the laws of Dubai, UAE, with email address [email protected], being the owner of the Platform;

– Nanny Hiring Services means the services provided by our agency to assist families in finding and hiring qualified nannies for their child care needs. These services include the facilitation of nanny recruitment, screening, and selection processes;

– Personal Data any data relating to an identified natural person, or one who can be identified directly or indirectly by way of linking data, using identifiers such as name, voice, picture, identification number, online identifier, geographic location, or one or more special features that express the physical, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of such person;

Platform means the online application of Nanny Genie accessible on the web and the website with the URL https://nannygenie.com/ that is managed and handled in entirety by us;

Privacy Policy means this document, containing the policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information by us;

Registered User means individuals who have registered with the Platform for Nanny Hiring Services;

Terms & Conditions means the document that contains the terms and conditions that govern use of the Platform available at www.nannygenie.com;

Third-Party Sites means third-party web pages that are linked on the Platform;

UAE means the United Arab Emirates;

Us/Our/We refers to the Platform domiciled in the UAE and its affiliates, subsidiaries and related entities; and

You/Your/(similar reference) refers to you as the user of the Platform.

Any third-party references and links that we provide are for your convenience only, to make your experience better while using our services; this should not be construed as an endorsement of Third-Party Sites or services in any manner. You are solely responsible for any interactions you may have with any Third-Party Sites or services. This privacy policy does not apply to information which cannot be identified as personal data.

  1. Use of the Platform

Before using the Platform and particularly before submitting personally identifiable information via this Platform, you should read this entire Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this Platform constitutes your full agreement to this Privacy Policy together with the Terms of Use. If the Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, please do not submit any Personal Data via this Platform and immediately cease from accessing the Platform.

The Platform collects information in two (2) ways: actively and passively. We may collect information including personally identifiable information (your full name, phone number and email address) and non-personally identifiable information (e.g. aggregate statistics about what parts of our Platform are most popular).

Upon registration on the Platform, you consent to receive informational emails and newsletters from us with updates about our Nanny Hiring Services. If you wish to opt out of receiving emails from us you may inform us at [email protected]. Please bear in mind this may impact your notification on any changes, updates, events, or any other relevant mail on the Platform.

Upon registration, the following the information shall be collected for your user account:
a. Information about your family, including the number of children, their ages, and any special needs they may have;
b. Employment history of previous nannies you may have had, including any experience you have had with nannies or other domestic workers;
c. Your preferences regarding the type of Nanny you are looking for, including their qualifications, experience and availability;
d. Information related to any transactions or payments made through the Platform.

Payments: You will be required to submit your credit or debit card number and CVV to process payments on the Platform via our payment gateway. You may be required to verify your card, subject to your bank’s requirements to vet your purchases and verify your identity, which you consent to do, if requested. If you decline to verify your purchase or your identity, your payment may not be processed or accepted. We do not collect or store your payment information.

User content: any messages, comments, feedback posts, photos, videos, audio recordings, customer support communications and any other data submitted by you, or used to communicate with us on the Platform may be collected and stored for legal record keeping purposes only.

Email and communications: we may collect any messages, emails, chat box messages, or any other form of communication used to engage with you.

Survey data: any surveys, feedback, comments or questionnaires answered by you may be collected as part of research for Nanny Genie.

Social media content: any interactions including comments, pictures, posts or messages sent on our social media platforms.

Newsletter: you may subscribe to our newsletter via the Platform.

Contact us: you may submit a complaint on the Platform or send us an email at [email protected].

In all such cases, you grant the Platform permission to send you regular emails, until such time you expressly request to unsubscribe by emailing us and this request shall not be denied by the us.

Passive information may be collected from visitors (non-registered users) of the Platform and Registered Users. Passive information collection refers to instances in which we collect information from you that you have not actively provided. These technologies allow us to collect certain kinds of non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your the type of web browser you use, Internet Protocol (IP) address, time zone, the date and time of your visit, the operating system you use, the specific pages you visit, the address of the website you visited prior to entering the Platform and the cookies that are installed on your device. Nanny Genie shall attempt to, but not be obligated to (unless under legal obligation) inform the Registered User if Nanny Genie is compelled to disclose or share Personal Data to any regulatory or governmental authority.

Your Personal Data is retained with us only to fulfil the necessary objectives for which it was collected for, unless we specifically agree a longer retention period with you, or a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. This also includes any legal, accounting, auditing or reporting obligations under applicable law.

If we are notified that a Registered User has shared or intends sharing unauthorised Personal Data relating to a minor, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently blacklist such Registered User.

Where you have consented to data processing, your consent provides the legal basis to process your Personal Data, such as when you consent to processing in relation to the processing of your data for data analysis in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Please note that your withdrawal of consent to collect and process your Personal Data will not affect the lawfulness of processing your Personal Data based on your consent before you withdraw your consent. This will however limit your receipt of Nanny Hiring Services.

We may process your Personal Data on the basis of contractual necessity to perform a contract we have with you or complete a purchase you have made or are making or are reviewing on the Platform. We may also process your Personal Data on the basis of our legitimate interests, including analytic reporting and improving the functionality of the Platform. For example, we have a legitimate interest in collecting information about your device hardware and operating system to better understand how users access and use the Platform. We also have a legitimate interest in providing and developing improved artificial intelligence algorithms to deliver better product features to our users. 15. Data Security Incidents

Nanny Genie shall notify the Registered User by email of any major or notable security incidents relating to breach of Personal Data belonging to the Registered User. Such notification shall be issued promptly upon Nanny Genie being aware of such incident occurrence and shall be summarised with respect to its effect on the Registered User and if any corrective measures have been taken to the extent possible. The Registered User shall immediately undertake any proposed action by Nanny Genie. Any security breach not caused directly by our act or omission shall not amount to any fault or liability of Nanny Genie. Similarly, Nanny Genie is not responsible to you in instances where a report or response has or has not been issued, for reasons determined by Nanny Genie.

16. Changes To This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole discretion without prior notice. If we do change the Privacy Policy, the new Privacy Policy will be posted here, along with its revision date, and all information collected following the posting of such changes will be subject to the new Privacy Policy. Prior to use or disclosure of your previously collected personally identifiable information in a materially different manner from that to which you agreed, we will first secure your affirmative consent for such use or disclosure.
